Is it possible to change the poll interval for vCenter or ESXi Server monitors?
Paul, Can you tell us why you want to change the poll interval? Currently it's not possible.

Hi Jasper
I think the current interval is 15 mins? Which in that time a host may have crashed and rebooted without any notification. I don't understand why an ESXi host isn't treated the same as a physical server with the ability to reduce the poll interval.
Hello Paul,
The ESXi & vCenter poll interval is not configurable yet. However, we can reduce the vCenter polling interval from 15 minutes to 5 minutes from our next On-Premise Poller version which is expected to be released by the end of this month.

Hi Krishna
We currently do not have this option available, as we have VCenter monitoring and when VMotion is used, the VM has a false positive and this occurs for approximately 15 minutes.
It would be important to perform on the VMware VM type.

Hi Fernando Oliveira,
Thank you for raising this. In our next release, we will add configurable polling intervals for VMware VM monitors. I will update this thread once the feature is live.

Hi Krishna,
Thanks! I'm waiting, just to know, is there any forecast?

The feature will be available before the end of March.
