Android app: Alarms widget, MSP, and BU accounts

The alarms widget available in the Site24x7 Android app provides information about managing alarms and accessing dashboards for both MSP and BU accounts. The Android app's alarms widget offers a quick view of monitor statuses (Critical, Down, or Trouble), ensuring you stay updated on monitoring activities. Whether you're navigating through customer accounts on the MSP dashboard or exploring BUs in the Business Units Portal, this provides you with a comprehensive overview of features and capabilities. Both dashboards include important navigation options, such as the ability to search for specific customers or units, view alarms, and modify application settings. You can easily switch back to your respective dashboard using the available navigation links.

Alarm's widget

Enables you to access alarms in Critical, Down, and Trouble states. You can easily view alarms with these statuses by long-pressing the Site24x7 app and selecting the relevant widget.

• Developer's note - Conf XML

  The conf.xml file allows you to easily configure web services like SOAP and RESTful APIs without needing to change the code. When you update the widget order in the conf.xml, it automatically reflects across the platform. You can also reuse widgets like Status_Widget, Summary_Widget, Outage_Widget, and Inventory_Widget across different monitors in the monitor detail page. This simplifies managing and viewing various monitor details. This is used in server monitors, website monitors, and other monitors that receive basic data.

MSP account

Logging in with your MSP account, will take you to the MSP Dashboard. This dashboard provides a high-level operational status overview of every customer account in your MSP account, organized by customer groups—all within a single view.

Additionally, you can search for specific customers using the search box.

Icon	Description
	Navigate to the Alarms page, where all the customers' alarms are displayed.
	Display the list of notifications available to customers.
	Navigate to the App Settings screen, where you can modify the settings.

BU Account

Logging in with your BU account will take you to the Business Unit Portal. This dashboard displays a list of all business units associated with your account. Clicking on a business unit will take you to its Alarms screen.
